Vision

In line with the direction of the 2005-2030 Long-Term National Education Development Plan and in response to the challenges of globalization, the current and future vision of the Faculty of Economics and Business is as follows:

“To become a reliable, international-standard faculty that continues to pay attention to local values in developing knowledge to improve the quality of life of the nation.”

This vision shows that the Faculty of Economics and Business is an educational institution that aspires to advance the nation through education, by developing knowledge and continuing to rely on understanding and local wisdom in producing well-rounded Indonesian citizens. The role of the Faculty of Economics and Business in improving the quality of life and civilization cannot be separated from the Faculty’s understanding of environmental issues that have emerged at the end of the 21st century. The issue of local wisdom has become a national issue regarding the importance of maintaining Indonesian identity amid global changes. These local issues are the focus of the faculty’s future development. Thus, the vision of the Faculty of Economics and Business describes a clear and concrete future achievement, not only within Indonesia but also within the global context.
